![]() ![]() They now also sold the 21" mowers under the Ransomes name. Ransomes shortly thereafter bought the remaining shares and took over the Johnson Creek factory. In 1979 they built a new expanded factory in Johnson Creek, WI, using funding obtained by selling shares to Ransomes Co of England. In 1975 they reopened with a 12" trimmer mower and the 21" Bobcat push mower/Sensation clone. In 1950 they added 2 stage snowblowers to their product line. Wisconsin Marine was founded in 1940 in Lake Mills, WI to manufacture boat hoists and floating docks. Sensation invented the grass catcher and pioneered "vacuum action" deck design. The only differences are the blade length and that Sensation used Briggs engines with exhaust valve rotators. Even the Crankshaft support/vacuum cone was copied from Sensation. Actually the only connection to Sensation is that Bobcat 21" mowers were a copy of Sensation Mow-Blo mowers.
